Labyrinth (1986), Starring David Bowie and Jennifer Conelly
You know when you have those memories of flashbacks from your childhood, but you just cant put yout finger on what your dreaming of. Well i have constantly though of the movie Labyrinth, which i recently watched after a night out on the town.
This is Movie is so amazing i gotta say with its elaborate characthers, and wonderful songs- which were all written and produced by yours truely David Bowie.
The movie was created by Jim Henson, a sort of Acid Trip version of Tim Burton. For those of you who dont know, Jim Henson was the Creator of classics such as The Muppets, and Fraggle Rock.
PLUS, Jennifer Conelly is super scrumcious in this movie, with that raven hair, and crystal blue eyes. :)

El Laberinto Del Fauno (2006)
For all you non Native speakers up in here, - Pan's Labyrinth, was an amazing spanish film that featured the most adorable little character, Ofelia, whom i look alot like now with my short curly hair. ANYWHO, Though similar to Labyrinth, El Laberinto Del Fauno, takes place in midst of the Spanish revolution, where Ofelia learns she is of super natural royality.
Pan's Labyrinth, is also a lot more realistic then the 80's version, and its spanish dialougue deemed much more poetic. Not to mention it was shown in Cannes Film Fesival, and it is very rare for Spanish film to cross over to the American Mainstream. :), Viva Latinos.

Both Films, are about two young girls(Sarah and Ofelia), who became immersed into a fantasy world theyve always dreamed of, each ending in the Labyrinth. Take notice that both the protagonists in each film have one main goal in the entire movie.- which is saving their little brother. you must watch it to understand. All in all, Ive got to say both movie are wonderful and they really parlay my actual thoughts, which are fantasy. Fantasy is much more exciting than reality, wouldnt you say so.?
